LiquiCoolT optimizes performance and reduces noise levels
Richmond, VA - December 7, 2004 - Velocity Micro, the Richmond, Va. based provider of premier PCs, launches its new LiquiCoolT liquid cooling solution. The refinement of liquid cooling technology reinforces Velocity Micro's position as an industry leading innovator. Liquid cooling technology provides a more sophisticated process to maintain low temperatures within a PC by first cooling the processor and then other peripheral components including the chipset and memory.
"LiquiCoolT is our latest offering for our die hard gaming and enthusiast base," says Velocity Micro President and founder, Randy Copeland. "It's an elite technology that will improve performance by keeping internal PC temperatures low. Overheated processors are a primary cause of long term performance problems."
With its unique design, LiquiCoolT liquid cooling solution eliminates the need for user maintenance. The liquid resides in vessels, which are filled and sealed before shipping. The innovative design minimizes the risk of leaks, while additives help to prevent corrosion and evaporation. The user will never have to fill or refill the cooling solution during the life of the system. Velocity Micro's LiquiCoolT liquid cooling solution is also designed for performance at low noise levels. The LiquiCoolT systems uses a temperature controlled large, slow rotating fan to move air quietly and to provide maximum cooling at optimal acoustic levels.
LiquiCoolT liquid cooling solution will be available on Velocity Micro's premier gaming rigs, including the new RaptorT 64 Extreme Edition gaming system and ProMagixT PCX multimedia computer.
