Richmond, VA - December 29, 2004 - Velocity Micro, the Richmond, Va. based provider of premier PCs, announced today its partnership with several leading technology companies for 2005 International CES. Partners including Microsoft, Intel and video card maker nVidia will feature Velocity Micro systems to showcase, among other technologies, Intel's 925 pin chipset, the Velocity Micro LX case, and nVidia's SLI technology, which bridges two video cards for heightened 3D performance.
According to Velocity Micro president Randy Copeland, the partnerships signify a logical convergence. "Velocity Micro systems have long been recognized as setting PC industry standards. As a launch partner for every major product release this year, Velocity Micro has solidified its reputation for providing cutting edge systems with excellent support and value. We're proud our systems will be used to demonstrate our partners' new technologies."
At CES Velocity Micro systems will be seen exhibiting the latest technologies from partners Microsoft, Intel, eVGA, Asus, ATI, Creative Labs, and nVidia. Velocity Micro will also participate in several product launches with these and other partners. Other CES activities for Velocity Micro include meeting with major industry press and partners to discuss the upcoming year's innovations.
International CES is the consumer electronics industry's most important trade show. Consumer electronics in all product categories (from personal electronics, wireless communication, and home networking to video, audio, home entertainment and mobile technologies) are showcased by more than 2400 exhibitors over four days. International CES allows consumer electronics companies to showcase their products, scout out new technologies, and broker deals for 2005.
