For the typical design and modeling work done by most AEC professionals using Sketchup, core frequency will be a more important spec than core count, making the ProMagix HD60 our recommendation. This is because Sketchup is a frequency bound application and does not take advantage of the multi-threading of many Intel i9, Ryzen Threadripper, or Intel Xeon processors. Local rendering using 3rd party plugins like V-ray, however, are multi-threaded and are reliant on the GPU for acceleration. If this is a part of your workflow, we recommend contacting our sales team for assistance configuring the perfect system for you.
We use only the very latest retail grade components in our workstations optimized for Sketchup. Each component in our online configurator has been chosen by our expert engineering team for maximum performance and the utmost reliability, ensuring that your hardware never gets in the way of your design.
