Performance Optimized

Our Lumion workstations are specifically designed for high demand workflows and single threaded CPU power to maximize performance without wasted resources. You won’t find a faster PC for Lumion anywhere else.

Expert Build Quality

Every PC we create is meticulously crafted by expert hands using only premium grade parts. The end result is a faster, more reliable PC that helps you get more done.

25 Years Experience

We’ve been building award winning workstations for professional workflows since 1997. It's that legacy that we continue to bring to every workstation PC we create today.

ProMagix™ HD60

For the creation of realistic visuals, AEC pros using Lumion should focus on two aspects of their PC hardware – CPU core frequency and GPU clock speed. Because Lumion is not multithreaded, processors with high core counts and lower core frequencies are not recommended for maximum value. Explore our ProMagix HD60 options to put together the perfect Lumion workstation.

Lumion FAQ

How many CPU cores do I need?

For most Lumion workstation users, the ideal configuration is a high CPU core frequency with fewer CPU cores but if you have a workflow heavy on 3D rendering, you will see some benefit from 10+ core CPUs. Not all user workflows are the same, so be sure and contact us for an optimized configuration.

Does Lumion require Xeon processors?

Intel Xeon processors are great for highly threaded applications or those that require ECC RAM, but for Lumion, Core i7 or i9 are a much better value and typically will perform better overall.

Quadro or Geforce graphics – which is best?

That answer depends on your specific workflow. For most Lumion users, Geforce cards are a better value because of their GDDR6 vRAM and higher GPU frequency. Some power users may find they need the extra performance that upper tier Quadros can offer. Check out this blog post for more details.

Does Lumion Support Ray Tracing?

Lumion 12 supports a more traditional rasterization style rendering and does not support Ray Tracing at this time. It's assumed that later versions will support Ray Tracing, so we do recommend a graphics card that supports it.

Is Hard Drive speed important for Lumion?

As a general rule faster SSDs will reduce load and save times, especially when working with very large, complex renders or managing multiple windows.
