Rhino Workstations

Whether utilizing Rhino’s usage of NURBS geometry to create 2D curves or 3D models, you’ll need a high powered workstation that’s designed to keep up.

Performance Optimized

Our Rhino workstations are specifically designed for high demand workflows to maximize performance without wasted resources. You won’t find a faster workstation PC.

Expert Build Quality

Every PC we create is meticulously crafted by expert hands using only premium grade parts. The end result is a faster, more reliable PC that helps you get more done.

25 Years Experience

We’ve been building award winning workstations for professional workflows since 1997. It's that legacy that we continue to bring to every workstation PC we create today.

Modeling with Rhino

ProMagix™ HD60

Since Rhino utilizes those complex mathematical equations to create precise curves, meshes, and points, most of those modeling applications will be frequency bound, meaning the core speed of the processor is more important to overall performance than is core count. This is why we recommend our ProMagix HD60 Rhino computers with its clock speeds of up to 5.3GHz to make the most of your productivity with a workflow focused mainly on modeling.

Rendering

ProMagix™ HD150

When creating finished renders with Rhino, either via customizable plugins or the included Rhino Render, multithreading and GPU power become more of a factor. In this instance, a system like our HD150 may be the best fit. For assistance choosing the right workstation for your specific workflow, contact our sales team.

Rhino FAQ

How many CPU cores do I need?

For most Rhino workstation users, the ideal configuration is a high CPU core frequency with fewer CPU cores. If you are taking 2D models and rendering out to realistic 3D images, a multicore processor will accelerate that process. Not all user workflows are the same, so be sure and contact us for an optimized configuration.

Don’t I need Xeon?

Intel Xeon processors are great for highly threaded applications or those that require ECC RAM, but for Rhino, Core i7 or i9 are a much better value and typically will perform better overall.

Quadro or Geforce graphics – which is best?

That answer depends on your specific workflow. For most Rhino users, Geforce cards are a better value. But for heavy render tasks, Quadro offers more horsepower if needed. Check out this blog post for more details.

Is Hard Drive speed important for Rhino?

As a general rule faster SSDs will reduce load and save times, especially when working with very large, complex models or managing multiple windows.
